Texan. She sounds like she's from Minnesota and now lives in Brooklyn, NY. she did apparently spend some time growing up in Kingsville, Texas. Another poster noted that's an area that draws a lot of outside talent for Celanese Corp and/or the oil and gas industry so highly suspect her family were transplants looking for work. who knows, ChemEs or something, but regardless she did spend some time growing up in Texas.

So yeah, she's from Texas but doesn't really have "that" Texas deep in her blood. If she likes the persona and identifies with it, fine. She's cute and all in the videos but she's protecting something here too. but I digress. She does a nice job here examining the monument, spending some time* asking questions etc. Good stuff.

long story short I got to hiking sections of AT in MD last couple months so AT through-hker videos attracted my attention etc. and for some reason she's the one I followed all the way through. Kelly's a lot sexier though. ;^) Now there's a southern accent!

* Through-hikers always have a clock in their heads, every minute spent here is a minute later that you get to your stopping point, this is a pretty generous amount of time in through-hiking terms.
